All performances, which are free to the public, are held on “dueling” stages on the beach at 24th Street, adjacent to the 24th Street Park.

Sandstock – A Tribute To Rock & Roll is a beach-inspired variation on “Woodstock” at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. National and regional tribute artists cover songs from some of the greatest rockers in history.
Sandstock also features an educational music component sponsored by School of Rock. 24th Street Park comes alive on Saturday afternoon as aspiring musicians perform on the Flower Power Stage in Sandstock Village. In addition to performing, School of Rock will be providing hands-on educational activities. School of Rock staff will provide instruction on real instruments as well as leading musical games to learn concepts in a fun way. Guests can also register for a free class at School of Rock to continue their learning after the event. Pop Up interactive art activities throughout the event complete the “jam” packed schedule.
The festival features a fantastic food and beverage menu. Beer and wine, as well as non-alcoholic beverages including smoothies and soft drinks, complement great festival food served from vendors on the beach.
