Dickens’ Christmas Towne has become Hampton Roads’ newest holiday tradition.  This year we’re bringing back the very best of seasons’ past including an indoor train display and Father Christmas, but also creating an entirely new entertainment line-up.  A magical Christmas tree forest will come to life as you enter the 15,000-square-foot village, and an elaborate, animated PUPPET SHOW will delight your entire family.  Performance artists, parlor magicians, incredible jugglers, actors, carolers and musicians will take center stage.  Each Saturday morning, join the fun at COPPERFIELD’S PETTING ZOO.  You’ll also have a chance to experience the first SNOW of the season every day in our town square!    

FREE ACTIVITIES & CRAFTS are an important part of Dickens’ Christmas Towne.  We’ve added even more games, family activities and fun – all free with admission.  We’re also extending our season and will remain open through New Year’s Eve.  After Christmas, be the first to see a national-caliber exhibit celebrating LITTLE GOLDEN BOOKS’ 75th anniversary, featuring 65 original illustrations from the beloved storybooks.  We’ll also showcase classic children’s movies each day after Christmas and host a magical celebration on PRINCESS DAY.
