This event is a annual family fund educational event and its free to the public
World Kidney Day event is design to “Bridge the knowledge gap to better kidney care” to educate participants and viewers on the cause, symptoms and ways to prevent serious health issues early. It is our intentions to raise awareness on how kidney disease primarily impacts and is more prevalent in underrepresented populations, specifically African Americans and other people of color. Health care providers, nurses, counselors, dietician panelists will be received questions from both the participants and viewers; a variety free testing, screening and COVID vaccine will be available. Our goals are to better prepare patients on the importance of taking an active role in their health care and treatment plans. Raising awareness well help bring about social change in those suffering from health care disparity.
