The Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads invites active-duty military families to an afternoon of fall fun, entertainment, and community connections at its Military Family Fall Festival & Resource Fair on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19th Street.
Admission is free, and the event is open only to active-duty military members and their families across all branches of service.
Families can enjoy a costume contest, games, inflatables, entertainment, live demonstrations, static displays, and interactive activities while discovering resources to help navigate the unique demands of military life.
More than 60 resource providers will bring information, expertise, and support together in one convenient location. From healthcare, education, and financial guidance to housing, military spouse employment, and family services, the fair will help families find practical assistance, ask questions, and build connections that extend beyond the event.
Participating sponsors and community partners include Dominion Energy, Southern Auto Group, Liberty Military Housing, Humana Military, and USAA. Families can also connect with organizations such as United Concordia, Fleet & Family Support Centers, Military Spouse Jobs, the Commissary, USO, Patient First, Youth for Tomorrow, and Military Family Advocacy Network.
Whether settling into a new duty station, preparing for a deployment, exploring educational opportunities, or seeking everyday support, families will have an opportunity to discover services that can make military life easier.
The festival also offers time to relax, have fun, and connect with other military families. Families are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy an afternoon celebrating the community that serves alongside our nation’s service members.
