We went through the Hayride & the maze. It was not as good as previous years. The theme is something to do with witches. I suggest getting a quick pass. This will put you at the beginning of the line so you won't have to wait. The fresh lemonade was amazing. You have to have tickets and be there by 10pm. It closes as soon as the last group is finished.
Absolutely love this place! My kids had so much fun, and you can tell the animals are well taken care of and loved.
You can eat there or bring a picnic lunch and eat at their plentiful picnic tables. Good ice cream too!
They have a pretty wide variety of animals, including goats, sheep, donkeys, zebra, pigs, ponies, chickens, llama, alpaca, bunnies, ducks, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, tortoise, doves, parakeets, and a koi pond. The farm is also dog friendly, but you have to keep them on a leash, since there's lots of birds wandering around.
I found everything to be pretty reasonably priced for the experience. There is also a nice playground as well.
Great place to bring your kids or grandkids. $30 for membership; What a great deal! Keeps them busy learning! I didn't see a jar to tip the employees; Amy (I think that was her name) gets a shout-out for her help parading my grandson around on the pony; it was such a humid, hot day! Thanks to y'all for a lovely memory!
Great petting zoo. I love animals and usually have issues with this sort of place. The animals here are healthy clean and seem happy. The bird house was fun but those with me got scared when a few parakeets landed on my shoulders. I wanted to take them home with me. Take this kids here for a day out. It's fun!
My family's visit here was amazing! My children especially enjoyed feeding the goats and the parakeet enclosure. Beware of the parakeets if you are uncomfortable with having them land on you. The woman who ran the pony rides had the patience of a saint! I highly recommend a visit here if you have children that enjoy animals.
