Ghosts of Virginia Beach

P.O. Box 5372 Virginia Beach, VA 23451

(757) 498-2127

Region: Oceanfront Central (11-25), Virginia Beach

Description

Ghost of Virginia Beach began in 2003 as the City's ORIGINAL GHOST WALK. Your "Scaryteller" will lead you on an easy, 90-minute walking tour where you'll hear eerie stories about the history and haunts of the city. Stories of pirates, witches and ghosts, haunted beaches, highways, restaurants and hotels.

Rather than being jostled along in a large group, your ghost walk is a personal, family friendly, activity enjoyed by hundreds of tourists and locals over the years. This allows you to ask questions or request a particular story.

Your ghost walks are on YOUR schedule, not ours. You choose the day and the time. Plan ahead, the earlier you call the better.

The minimum charge of $50 is good for up to 5 people. Group rates are available.

Experience chilling thrills and stories of Ghosts in Virginia Beach

Great color quality for the early 80s! Has to be slide film with how rich the colors are. Maybe Kodachrome.

Between the Aquarius & the Greenwood was a small cottage; The Cannon Hall Motor Lodge. It’s front was set a bit eastward toward the beach so we can’t see its sign & it was quite narrow in the south north dimension.

Man i Loved our old beach. I grew up right there in the Mayflower.

Looks like a parked Starsky and Hutch car - if so - would be after 1975.

Looking north, that’s the mayflower in the background.

Definitely 70’s or early 80’s looking at those cars!

Gonna say.. the key identifiers will be the parked yellow sports car, the approaching green car, and the retreating red and white car. Dude on bike's hair style indicates late 70's as well. More peter frampton, less Robert Plant at this point.

All those power poles add to the charm that was VB - LOL

Probably was there....🥴❤️

Maybe the fresh seafood sign on the left is Stormonts

That’s amazing!! How did the streets seem to get so small presently?!?

Looks like mid to late 70s to me .

Damn!! The old radio tower near 24th. Forgot alllllll about that thing.

Stormont's Selected Seafood on left? 1970's?

I wish the military didn't bulldoze the dunes in the '40s 😔
