iFLY Va Beach

2412 Pacific Ave Virginia Beach, VA 23451
757) 754-4359

Region: Oceanfront Central (11-25), Virginia Beach

Description

iFLY is an indoor skydiving experience that creates true free fall conditions, just like skydiving, without having to jump out of an airplane. iFLY’s vertical wind tunnel generates 1600 horse power from 4 powerful fans, creating a wall-to-wall cushion of air on which you can safely float. There’s no parachute, no jumping, and nothing attaching you to planet Earth. It’s just you and the air, and it’s the most incredible adrenaline rush.

No experience is necessary. Just about anyone can fly, including those with physical disabilities. Children as young as 3 to adults as young as 103 have flown with us. There are only a few exceptions—for example, if you’ve dislocated a shoulder or have had a neck injury.

Admission Fee:
All packages include a comprehensive training session, rental of flight suit, helmet and shoes, hands-on personalized assistance from a flight instructor and a flight certificate. First time flyer packages start at $59.95. We are now accepting online reservations. Please visit virginiabeach.iflyworld.com to book your flight!

This was the most Amazing birthday present ever. The staff was very friendly the entire time that we were there. We had already made reservation about a week prior but iFLY staff encourages guest to go upstairs and view flights in progress so that you would have an idea of what it is like. Our flight instructor James(Prior Navy) was Awesome. He was extremely patient and answered all questions. My son is still talking about the Superman style flight that James took him on. I can’t wait to go again.

Very expensive for a family of 6 for 2 flights each at 1 min per flight (((BUT))) Definitely an incredible experience!!! The facility is very clean, easy to navigate, and the employees were very friendly. The instructors seamed to be having fun, they were very knowledgeable, and took every step to ensure a safe experience. If going with a group I wound highly recommend purchasing the pictures and videos (why not you already spent so much, whats a little more haha) They had a picture/ video package for all the pictures and videos 2 per person of everyone in the group for like $45. I would highly recommend trying at least once!!

This experience was awesome. We had Colin and he was enthusiastic, calming, easy to work with and 100% professional. Concern for safety? Don't worry. Really great time and we can't wait to do it again.

This was my all-time favourite thing to do at VA Beach. You make a reservation online and pay for everything there. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. I definitely recommend actually arriving an hour early like it says. For 30 minutes you can watch the other flyers and figure out whats going on. The last 30 minutes you have instruction time to learn hand signals and correct body position. Memorize the hand signals; they're important.
Its an extra ten dollars to do the "high flight", which is worth doing!
The instructor was very enthusiastic and friendly. They definitely know what they're doing, so don't worry; you're in good hands.
Overall a great experience and I would love to do it again!

VA is Flying Lovers... Great place for people who want to skydive but don't want to take the plunge and its cheaper... Great for family fun day and group activity... I paid extra for them to take me higher and it was worth it... The instruction video and class was informative... Tip: They offer specials in trip books and online. A parking garage is behind the building. There is also meter parking on the side of 24th street.
