Born from a craving to bring the finest food and wine to Coastal Virginia, Peter Coe opened the first TASTE UNLIMITED in Virginia Beach in 1973. And so began their pioneering journey to enhance the collective local palate. In 2006, the Pruden family jumped aboard to carry the traditions forward for another generation.
Their commitment to high quality foods does not end with their prepared foods. The retail shelves are chocked full of exclusively curated foods from artisanal producers, with an emphasis on the fine food and wine made right here in Virginia. They also feature farmstead cheese, cured meats, craft beer, wine, and gourmet provisions from chocolate to olive oil. We seek out foods made on family farms and by small producers who are zealous about preparing foods of integrity using traditional methods. They even have formed close relationships with these producers and offer regular tastings to expose diners to their products and share the story behind them.
