Food was good the serving size was bigger then excepted. Service was really good! Better then most places in the Beach.
Was a little disappointed in the selection of seafood. But we were there for lunch, so it may have been a reduced menu.
We will definitely go back!
Also the patio had a wonderful view of the ocean!
Neptune's does NOT make you choose between quality and quantity in terms of their menu choices. Many great options that appeal to a wide variety of tastes and will cater to whatever you're in the mood for.
Staff is also very nice and accommodating.
The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I'd say the taste is really good, but not outstanding. (With the exception of the amazing sweet and spicy wings and, strangely, the chocolate milk which is so unique and delicious).
My husband and I were excited to eat here! We found a parking spot outside of the hotel the restaurant was connected to. Thank goodness we saw the sign saying that we needed to be hotel guest to park there or we would have been towed. We ended up parking just across the street in a parking garage. They had the option for us to eat inside or outside and we chose outside of course. The scenery was beautiful since the beach was right there. Our server, Patricia, was wonderful. There was a decent selection at the bar. Most of the food, including crab legs, were just warm. It is a little pricey for items to be just warm (about $40 per person for the unlimited bar). It started storming while we were there and the staff put the shades down which was a nice touch since we didnt have to move tables!
Wanted to have breakfast by the beach before leaving town, but the staff didn't seem to want any customers. It was the Sunday after 4th of July week and you'd think this place would be packed due to its location, but the patio was clearing out and the inside was dead when we arrived. Still the hostess told us it would be a 10 minute wait due to only having a few servers. Okay, no problem. So we waited by the bar for 15 minutes, meanwhile watching all but a few remaining tables get up & leave. Then the hostess came back to say again that there will be a 10 minute wait to be seated. We were the only ones waiting, and we'd been 5 feet away from the hostess stand the whole time, so I'm not sure how she forgot us. We pointed out that she'd already told us about the 10 minute wait 15 minutes ago, and she walked off as if to find someone help her figure out what to do with us. We waited another 5 minutes for her to return and eventually gave up. Walked 5 minutes down the road to Maple Tree Pancake House, got seated immediately with great food and incredible service. My advice: skip this place if you're hungry.
It could have been better had server been more attentive to our table! Had to get up and get I\r own lemons for our ice water!
I could have stayed home if I was anticipating for this kind of service!
