The Atlantic on Pacific
Region: Oceanfront North (26-40), Virginia Beach
This place comes from the owners of another Virginia Beach mainstay, Eurasia. The Atlantic on Pacific, which is only a little over a mile from its sister restaurant at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, offers a menu of small plates, mainly focused on the local seafood bounty. The upscale oyster and raw bar is the star of the show here, as well as the list of wines they have to pair expertly with the salty-sweet bivalves. Paired with their extensive collection of bubblies and a menu of cocktails crafted with house shrubs and their own homemade bitters, this place has everything any die-hard foodie could want. It will quickly become one of the most talked about restaurants in Virginia Beach.

Very nice place. The food is excellent. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese, salmon and crab cake. We all share the dishes and all were very delicious. This is my second time at the restaurant and it was as good as the first time.
Remember when you used to dress up to go out? This restaurant is like that, stylish. Though I think anybody would be welcome here however they are dressed - its the beach right? For me, in the contemporary marine themed atmosphere, the raw bar is the place to be. For "Happy Hour" or any other hour of the day, the team behind the bar (and being amongst the bustle of the servers) make it feel as though you are part of the action. The food? - yeah it is all that. From the basics (burgers) to beautifully cooked seafood the kitchen is striking gold. Moreover, their specialty drinks are worth the investment. All in all, we made a point to go back twice in the three days that we were in Virginia Beach. Go early or make reservations - lots of others love this place and for good reason.
A true gem at the beach. If you're looking for a great tapas place with an amazing whiskey and bourbon selection, look no further! They have what appears to be a great raw bar. We had the calamari (it was obviously fresh) and it was great. The potstickers were tasty and the crab toast was loaded with crab meat. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. John was our bartender, he was great and super knowledgeable.
Our server Mara was great! She was attentive and friendly and definitely knows her stuff. Red dragon drink was not our favorite, but no worries switched it to new era..wow! If u love bourbon this is your drink. Oysters shocked well, caviar blinis tasty. Shellfish pasta plenty for 2 ppl. Nice chewy homemade squid ink tagliatelle. Good job,we will be back!
Not a big seafood guy but I was blown out of the water! This place has the best burger's in VA beach hands down. If you go after 3 PM you can get a burger and fries for only $6. It was so delicious I had to write a review. I can't wait to come back here!
