Was awful, looked at reviews said it was good. However you can't smell anything like Italian. Ordered a pizza and I've had better frozen pizza then what they made. When we were leaving looked through the nasty window and seen pizza shells and fake bread sticks. Never again will I ever eat at a place called Glovannis . Went that afternoon down 2 blocks and had a great pizza. Also price was ridiculous 😡
Food was delicious! It came out way faster than i expected. Our waiter Christian was very tentative making sure we had everything we needed and worked quick as well. Definitely 5/5
The place was very clean. I got lasagna. It was very good. My wife got eggplant parmesan. It was good just a little hard. My daughter got chicken tenders and fries. It was cooked just right. My son-in-law got hamburger. It was very good.
Horrible service, waiter didn’t speak English and couldn’t communicate to us about questions without grabbing a manager. I ordered a 8.99 meal and was charged 16.99 and they fought me on it saying “that’s what I ordered” even though I had to point out what I wanted on the menu Because the server didn’t speak English once again, I pointed to the 8.99 meal. I ended up paying $50 bucks for 1 Stromboli and 1 chicken grinder meal. I had to hunt down another server to get our check. Then when we went to leave we tried splitting the check, it took 3 separate people to try and split the check and took 15 mins to pay a bill before leaving. We also never got our salads. This place needs inspected ASAP and shut down. Horrible, I came here from vacation hearing good things but it wasn’t good what so ever. Stay clear of this run down place, I see plenty of other Italian restaurants in the area.
Okay so, the reason I gave this place a 2 star is because of a few things: To start everything seems to be overpriced. My mother and I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a chicken Alfredo with two waters which came out to be around $50... fortunately the leftovers were shared with two other people so I guess it’s not that bad. The food was definitely good which is why it is getting two stars instead of 1. It’s a good eat and the menu selection is a good size with a variety.
The staff seemed friendly until I left no tip... Considering I’m from SC where gratuity is either optional or 3-6%, not 18%, I’d say $8 is a good tip...
