We celebrated my son's 27th birthday here & boy was it an amazing evening. Everything about this Ristorante was 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. The atmosphere was very warm, friendly and inviting. The food was superb and so was the staff. I would go back again & again. Thank you all @ Aldo's for an authentic Italian experience!💝😘
I honestly have nothing negative to say. Our experience there was incredible. We were on vacation looking for a fancy place to celebrate my friend's birthday and we made the perfect choice. The staff went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. And that pasta was literally the best pasta I have ever tasted in my entire life. And honestly it wasn't even close to being as expensive as I thought it was going to be.
We just went for the first time 3 nights ago and everything was amazing! Our waiter Lorenzo was absolutely incredible and genuinely nice! He was informative and provided excellent service. Then he brought out our dishes: I had chicken and shrimp linguini in tomato cream sauce (absolutely delicious) and my mother had the eggplant stack which she said was the best eggplant she's ever had. This restaurant is very accommodating as well. We loved it so much that we are going back tonight before we leave for Massachusetts 😊
Searched for a place that had Margarita Pizza discovered Aldo's. This was our first experience and last all rolled in one. We were greeted at the door by a snootie headwaiter. We were seated away from all of the guest that were dressed in more casual to semi casual attire. We barely got seated when the headwaiter walks back over to ask my husband to remove his hat that he had forgotten he even had on. We are simple hard working people and a hat is a normal piece of our daily clothes. My husband would have removed it without being so rudely ask. We almost left but decided to stay because we refuse to allow that kind of treatment run us away. Our waiter Pasquale was good but a bit overly attentive. I'm sure he only followed orders. As to the food $2.00 each for a meatball that was good but honestly tasted like Chef Boy R-D canned ones. The house salad was okay nothing any better than Olive Garden and finally the reason we chose this place the Margarita Pizza. It was good but Johnny Brusco's are home is much much better. We were hoping for a new place to add to our list of favorites to eat but instead got a not again.
PS..another couple unrelated to us walked in and they too were dressed in shorts and beach wear they too were seated away from the other guests. Mr. Suit and no tie and his semi casual friend walked in and got a totally different treatment.
We went to Aldo’s to try the happy hour specials we saw online. We made a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival which was nice. When trying to order happy our specials we were told it was for only the bar area which was a little disappointing. The food came out very fast and it was delicious. Very traditional Italian dishes and we were so impressed with the portion! The desserts are a MUST try! We will be back during our next visit to VA beach.
