We camped in a tent in site 1309 in the Foxfire Forest section in Feb 2019. The whole section was empty (water didn't work but electricity did) which made it so private and peaceful. The specific tent sites were partially flooded out so we drove around looking for the perfect spot and we found it in 1309 which is a corner spot. There was a ditch behind the campsites throughout that section that seems like it collects rainwater so that it doesn't pool in the sites. The bathhouse was not open in that section so we had to walk a ways to get to an open one but it was worth it for the privacy. The planes are extremely loud but we loved hearing and watching them. We got to see several oppossums around our site as well as a pack of coyotes. Firewood was around $5 a bundle but there were tons of downed trees and branches around our site I guess probably because it was a closed section. There are no fire rings, you just make your own on the ground. We didn't park at the hotel lot by the beach but chose to pay to park at 31 Ocean parking garage since it was closer to the heart of the boardwalk. It was very nice of the front office to let us stay several hours beyond checkout time. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back again. It was so peaceful we felt like we were the only ones in the whole park!

This place was amazing. We stayed in the off-season so there weren’t too many others nearby which made for peace and quiet. Spaces are close together in some areas and not in others. There is an inflatable house with a 90 degrees salt water pool and very thoroughly stocked store. There is also a cafe on site but was closed for the off season. We will be back. Also- the campground is conveniently close to many attractions.

This place is nothing short of magical, super clean, family and dog-friendly, and has the most amazing murals throughout the enormous park. It's also has a guard shack for extra security. I've been taking my children here their whole lives. There is a really great gated dog park which is a real pleasure. The owner really knows how to keep the place clean and has done some awesome renovations to every single bathroom. There are also two stores on the property. One of my favorite parts is that it backs up to a horse farm and you can watch the horses. Definitely the thing I like most about it is the Enchanted Forest which at certain times of the year sparkles and glows with fireflies.

New owners and great things have begun to take place. Been coming here for years and absolutely love it. Shuttle runs in the summer to the beach and they also have their own parking lot 3 blocks from the beach so you can also drive to the beach area. Lots of activities for the kids too. Great super site area.
