I’m currently staying at the Comfort Inn, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Hotel and staff are great, my only complaint is, I requested clean towels for my room today twice a few hours apart. Both times I, was told the hotel is out and unable to provide me with clean towels. I asked for pool towels since the hotel was out of room towles to which I was told there is none of those either. This morning I asked the staff about towels and they told me the cleaning staff hasn’t made it in to do laundry. This is not acceptable definitely not happy ... See MoreSee Less

Hi. Your, "bada book, bada bing"
commercial is absolutely frick*** horrible!!
Please stop showing it!!?!!
Firstly... it's horrible ( and I can say" firstly," cause, your stuff is....horrible.....!!), I believe I said that already.
Secondly, I didn't even know what your commercial was for. I actually thought it was a Liberty Mutual commercial. This is because Liberty Mutual is usually a prerequisite to your dumbass commercial. Thank God for DVR! I would have never figured this out because when it's playing live it just hurts, so no one pays attention!

Econolodge in Foley AL. The room was dingy and nasty feeling. Very dimly lit. Tiles were broken in the bathroom. The air conditioner didn't work properly. There was one chair in the room with an inch thick cushion in it. There were no extra blankets in the room like every other hotel I have ever stayed at. The beds were made, but were really hard and uncomfortable. The carpet was black and felt DISGUSTING to walk on. The tub leaked non stop and had brown stains in it. The oudoor walkways were horrid with filth. Absolutely the most filthy hotel I have ever stayed at. The fire alarms went off at all hours. I asked the front desk about it and was told that "someone" had been called. This happened through both nights we stayed here. The elevator didn't work all of the time. The room was cramped and small. And the worst part, is that for the same exact cost, I could have stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suits, in Orange Beach. The only reason I got a cheaper rate was because I went with a non concellation rate. It was slightly cheaper, but I was not able to cancel under any circumstances. I will stay somewhere else next time. I would ask for a refund, but I don't think I can because of the rate I took. DO NOT STAY HERE. ... See MoreSee Less

Choice Hotels are my go - to place when traveling. With the variety of hotels I have learned what to expect before I check in. I know I want a hot breakfast and often have to call ahead before booking to prevent surprises but I find pleasant surprises at both ends of the hotel chain. ... See MoreSee Less

I was trying to book a room for tonight on your website and when I checked out the dates had been changed for tomorrow and now all of your rude employees will not help us cancel. This is ridiculous I have children I can’t afford to pay 400 dollars for a room I won’t be staying it plus having to find another one for tonight ... See MoreSee Less

How does your hotel chain stay in business when you suck?! You tell me I’m entitled to a free stay or a $50 gift card now I don’t know where my points are and I’ve been told I had to apply for it online when you never told me that you are stink and is a scam and we need to check in to hotel they are conditioning is not even on and you made my family swelter all night. shame on you I’m going Hilton from now on and everybody else come with me

SCAM ALERT: COMFORT INN AND SUITES LAGUARDIA AIRPORT IN MASPETH QUEENS. RESERVE AT YOUR OWN RISK! HORRIBLE DISGUSTING SCAM EXPERIENCE. THE MOST UNRELIABLE AND UNETHICAL HOTEL WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. DO NOT RESERVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK YOUR RESERVATION BEING CANCELLED AT THE LAST MINUTE IF SOMEONE ELSE IS WILLING TO PAY MORE THAN YOU ON THE DAY YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO CHECK IN!!! My aunt passed away this weekend and I made a reservation to stay at this hotel for one night - tonight - for the funeral. I made the reservation 3 days ago. When I made the reservation online my credit card was accepted. THEN JUST AN HOUR AGO, AS WE ARE DRIVING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN, HEADING TO THE HOTEL, THEY CALLED TO TELL US OUR RESERVATION HAD BEEN CANCELLED!!! They claimed the credit card I gave was declined, that they called us multiple times to ask us for another card, and when we couldn’t be reached, they released our reservation and it was taken already. Here’s the thing. 100 PERCENT OF WHAT THEY ARE SAYING IS LIES. Here’s an explanation of their lies: 1. My credit card was not declined. It’s been working just fine all day. In fact, I *just* got off the phone with the credit card company who says THE CHARGE FROM COMFORT INN WAS ABSOLUTELY APPROVED and was then REVERSED… BY COMFORT INN! You got that right! They charged us - it went through just fine - and then they refunded us for no reason, and told us it was Declined. Why? Perhaps because another party came along who was willing to pay more than us on the same day! My husband is a COMFORT REWARDS PRIORITY CARD holder who happens to be eligible for a truly tiny discount on a room because of this fact. I guess this is how they treat their “VIP” “PRIORITY” clients! That’s pretty evil. 2. They did NOT try to reach us “multiple times,” as the person we spoke with claimed to have done, about this fake problem. WE RECEIVED ONE CALL from a 718 number this morning and NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT. There were NO OTHER MISSED CALLS ON OUR PHONES, NO TEXTS, NO EMAILS. (We got a text when we reserved! Why no text now?) They absolutely did NOT “try hard at all to reach” us today. If they had tried, they could have EASILY gotten another credit card number from us. But again, this whole step is rather unnecessary because THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY JUST ASSURED US THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH OUR CARD. SO. MY RESERVATION HAS BEEN GIVEN AWAY BY THESE CRUEL JERKS SO THEY COULD MAKE A FEW EXTRA BUCKS. Luckily, I was able to find a room last minute at the Maspeth Holiday Inn Express which seems like a much nicer and cleaner hotel anyway, so we fine. But we walk away knowing this…. This hotel is RUNNING A SCAM, the people who work here are useless to help you, and you should AVOID RESERVING AT THE COMFORT INN of MASPETH, QUEENS AT ALL COSTS. We travel a lot. We are throwing away our CHOICE CARD and will never reserve at a hotel in this CHOICE HOTELS chain again. Who knows if they’re all running this scam? They might not be, but either way, its not worth the risk. Would you risk it? Especially when you are grieving and all you want is to know there’s a bed waiting for you in a hotel near the cemetery for one damn night so you can wake up and bury the last member of your family the next day? Jeez. Thanks for being worthless, Choice Hotels. PS - I just went on the Choice Hotels Facebook page, and everyone is making the same complaint — it looks like this is a regular COMPANY-WIDE SCAM BEING RUN AT ALL CHOICE HOTELS! So fellow travelers, BEWARE of this SCAM and please reserve at your own risk at any of the following places: COMFORT INN, COMFORT SUITES, SLEEP INN, QUALITY INN, CLARION, MAINSTAY SUITES, SUBURBAN, ECONOLODGE, RODEWAY INN. You very well might find your reservation is worthless on the day you show up.

Noticed nobody even bothered to respond to any of us they don’t care. They will care when we all go to Hilton!

Just let all of you people out there know how choice hotels treats families whose child has had cancer...We had a drive 10 hours on Friday the 13th to pick up her sons we could get him back in time to have his annual MRI to make sure his brain tumor didn’t come back we need the treacherous mistake of choosing a choice hotel, Redding Roadway inn. Thank God our son was in with us because he could not breeze in the hot horrible air when we checked in on the second floor and there were no other rooms that had the air conditioner running. My husband and my little son how to stand on the second floor while we waited for the host to go from room to room when he already knew that wasn’t going to be any cold rooms. We get into another room hot as hell - can barely breath - and we just have to get a few hours of sleep to get back on the road to drive another five hours to get our son. Because the air around all night and we woke up it was like a freezer so we all left with sore throat’s. Shouldn’t even bother to notify the hotel because he told me that it’s too hot or you can have a cold room well I’m sorry but as a customer a paying customer he could’ve had it getting cooler before we got there knowing that we were coming as we reserved plenty of time before. Even choice hotel on Sunday Oliver told me that that was an acceptable. I have her only gave me 3000 points what you can basically do nothing with. No Oliver on Sunday we chatted about how the Tuesdays recently would give me one free stay this week for what we need for our road trip. We can’t get a stay with 13,000 points because they all start at 20,000 even for a dirty Econolodge. I have talked to three people now choice hotels and they refused to help me saying the case has been closed Oliver gave me 3000 points and that’s all they can do despite the fact I told her the whole reason for the trip was to go get my son was my brain cancer survivor at the age of 16. So again, They don’t care about families with children who have cancer, they mislead their promotions. And telling me to spend another $30 so I can get up to 20,000 points instead of just doing the right decent thing and give me enough points to get the free stay that they told me I would have when I talk to them on Sunday. Don’t waste your time and energy on choice hotels, especially if you’re traveling for the purpose of getting a child who had cancer they don’t care.
