Happy Wednesday Everyone! We would like to announce of PawStars of the Week. For the first time we have two winners. Our first winner is Leonidas, a french bulldog. He was a retirement gift and loves playing in the ocean. Leonidas does not know any tricks. Our other winner is Bandit, a Jack Russell terrier/chihuahua mix. He joined his family 6 years ago after being in an animal shelter at 3 months old. Bandit loves the water and was afraid of the water at first, but finally came around by getting on a float in a pool. Bandit was named Einstein by the shelter because he is very smart. He knows how to give paw, knuckles, high fives, double up where he sits with both his front paws in the air, and lastly and the greatest …kisses on the nose

Congratulations Leonidas and Bandit! See you next time!

We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. Our room was clean upon entering and we had plenty of towels and toilet paper. The view from our balcony was incomparable. Note: this hotel IS pet friendly, as is much of VA beach but it didn't impact our stay at all. Again, our room was clean and didn't smell of any lingering pet odors and it's always a bonus when you get to see a dog having fun anywhere, but especially on the beach. We will be returning to this location without a doubt.

What a wonderful weekend! We came out here for Labor Day and had such a gorgeous room overlooking the ocean.

The spa bathrooms and comfy bed made it hard to leave the room and enjoy the beach! The breakfast is delicious and is included with your stay. The H restaurant downstairs is also charming and has amazing food and drinks for very reasonable prices.

We’ll be back!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Hyatt. Valet parking is fabulous. The staff is extremely Pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Easy access to all the resources surrounding the hotel. The rooms are very spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable. They have pillow top mattresses. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Worth every penny.

I don’t usually leave a review while staying at a resort but couldn’t have kept this place a secret much like longer, Hyatt House has gone way past my expectations in kindness and help with anything that we needed. Our room is on the 3rd floor comes with 2 queen beds a full kitchen separate sitting area with a second television. Full size fridge with stove a dishwasher.. breakfast that is included is very good compared to other places that I have been to. There is a full bar on the main floor and an outdoor terrace for lunch and dinner including large portions. The prices are very good and we haven’t eaten anywhere else , why bother at great prices, eat then hit the beach steps away. We are here with our small dog Miss Lilo. Who was welcomed by the staff like family. There is also a place next to the boardwalk just for them too do you know what, We will definitely be back here again next year thank you all at the Hyatt House.

We primarily stay at Marriott and Hilton branded hotels exclusively when the options are available. On our family vacation to Virginia Beach, neither were an available option. We ended up at the Hyatt House and our expectations of the accommodations and services were overwhelmingly exceeded. From check-in to checkout, the staff was focused on making our visit pleasurable. A few examples of this was when I needed to launder my kids' swimwear, they offered complimentary detergent and dryer sheets. When there was an issue with the blinds in our room, the front desk sent maintenance up immediately who realized that an actual repair was needed and then completed the repair quickly considering what was needed. We noticed a spill in the elevator and reported it to the front desk staff who immediately had the hazard cleaned up.
Our room was very clean and did not show signs of wear that you would expect from a room that has nearly no vacancies during the year. The views from our room were amazing.
Our overall visit could not have been better.
