Staff were excellent! They were knowledgeable, professional and very polite helpful and friendly. The food was very good too well seasoned, cooked and more than enough for our guests. I would definitely consider expanding the menu though. Not saying change what's not broken, but definitely thinking out of the box in a good way !
Unfortunately the Tradewinds is closed now. The hotel has been purchased and will close October 31st for renovations until April of 2020. Wait staff that work here are absolutely fantastic from Calvin right down to the dishwashers. Food was always good little on the pricey side but still good. They have the best Sunday buffet ever from scrambled eggs to roast beef and Seafood. Nightlife was just as good always Lively. Hopefully they will reopen along with the hotel in 18 months
It was late on a Tuesday night and we basically had the place to ourselves. We sat out on the back deck with a nighttime ocean view (there's direct access to the beach from there) and received amazing service. The staff (Cynthia) was incredibly accommodating to our needs! We had the seafood platter and fried calamari and it was on point -- everything cooked and seasoned really well. Would certainly come back.
This was part of the hotel that we stayed in there we did not like we had so many problems with the hotel itself that we would not return back to the hotel far as the banquet I mean the restaurant goes we had our banquet there and that was pretty decent the food was pretty decent even though we have base and hot dogs and hamburgers so the food was not bad.
Not the place it used to be in my 15 years of visiting. Sad to see such a decline. Despite having been sold to Marriott and expecting renovations this fall, I expected better support for the remaining staff of the establishment. It was a bitter disappointment to say the least.
