Have you heard about shinrin-yoku? This Japanese practice, called forest bathing, helps to alleviate stress and anxiety, proven by almost 40 years of research. Learn this wonderful self-healing practice by taking time in nature to center yourself, embrace the wonder of our environment and connecting with your inner and outer worlds. This experiential, interactive walk will teach you about the natural environment's healing properties as you to connect with nature and experience it for yourself.
*This walk is suitable for all fitness levels*
-Meet in the parking lot. Free parking in lot.
-Arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in. We begin promptly at 9:00 am.
-Check the local weather for appropriate clothing.
-Bring a bottle of water and bug spray and/or sunblock if needed.
-Bring a blanket or towel to sit on.
