Virginia Beach has been home to the Annual East Coast Surfing Championships since 1963. We don't always have great surf, but we have far better surf than most of the accessible locations on the East Coast.
Windsurfers love Virginia Beach. We have the challenge of ocean windsurfing, plus there's the Chesapeake Bay, Back Bay and many other bays and waterways to explore.
To skimboard you need just the right beach conditions. You can almost always find excellent places to skimboard in Virginia Beach.
There are many great places to wakeboard in Virginia Beach. As with the other board sports, wakeboarders need conditions to be just right. Virginia Beach, because we have so many different water conditions to choose from is an ideal place to Wakeboard. |
